New Classical Release: Trufflemusik’s "A Sweet of Brahms"

Available on May 15, 2020, this “sublimely introspective” venture in to the reimagining of what Brahms was doing at the end of his incredibly successful career. Opus 117 and 118 are collections of piano pieces to which Trufflemusik has added the extraordinary resonance of the cello. Described as the “sound of the human soul” the violoncello is one of the largest stringed instruments. Although the piano is probably best known as the “workhorse” of the musical world since it produces both treble and bass sonorities, adding the cello to these classical masterworks only makes the ultimate result richer and fuller.

Piano plus cello equals emotional sonority.
